Chiefly used for inflammatory conditions of the mucous membranes, particularly in the urinary tract and respiratory system.

Key indications include: Cystitis and urethritis with intense, burning pain during urination and thick, muco-purulent discharges; Chronic bronchitis with a profuse, purulent, greenish expectoration and a persistent, hacking cough; Gonorrheal infections (historically a specific use).

Symptoms often involve a sensation of heat and burning, and discharges that are thick and tenacious.

Dosage & Administration:
Common potencies range from 1x to 30C. As with all homeopathic medicines, dosage is individualized. A typical starting point is 2-3 pellets of a 6C or 12C potency, 2-3 times daily, or as prescribed by a homeopathic practitioner. It should be taken in a clean mouth, away from food, drinks, or strong flavors.
